Neil Pardington
Minty & Company’s branding is another story of collaboration – this time with multiple award-winning New Zealand graphic designer and artist, Neil Pardington. We endeavoured to have our brand design speak to the same confluence of function + style that Minty & Company seeks to endorse with its products. Neil helped get us there.
Full disclosure: Neil has a family connection to Minty & Company. He is married to Charlotte’s sister, Wellington architect Amelia Minty.
Neil’s career is notable for its ambition and success. With 30+ years design industry experience, he has worked in various art museums and founded his own design firm, Eyework Design - which later merged with Base Two.
Neil’s own photographic art and graphic design have been exhibited in prominent New Zealand art galleries and museums. Charlotte and Craig have a number of his works displayed at their home.
Of Kāi Tahu, Kāti Mamoe, Ngāti Kahungunu and Pākehā descent, Neil was a founding trustee of Paemanu Ngāi Tahu Contemporary Arts Trust and also the 2011 recipient of the Marti Friedlander Photography Award.
Other honours include a slew of Design Institute of New Zealand awards across various design disciplines and several more from the Publishers Associations of New Zealand for his bookwork.
